Most of South Pandosy falls into a pathway that runs through A.S. Matheson Elementary or Raymer Elementary for kindergarten through grade 6, KLO Middle School for grades 7 to 9, and Kelowna Secondary School (KSS) for grades 10 to 12 — all part of Central Okanagan Public Schools (School District 23).
Why "General" Isn't "Guaranteed"
Catchment boundaries are drawn address by address, not neighbourhood by neighbourhood, and South Pandosy is large enough that a home a few blocks away can technically sit in a different catchment than the one most people assume. If school assignment is a deciding factor in your purchase, we confirm the specific catchment for the specific address with the district before you write an offer — not after.
What This Means If You're Buying
- Don't rely on a listing description — "walking distance to KSS" isn't the same as being in its catchment.
- Check enrollment/capacity — some Central Okanagan schools have had capacity pressure in growing areas, which can affect whether catchment placement is guaranteed.
- Ask about French Immersion or other program boundaries separately — these can follow different catchment rules than the standard English-track school.
